First Church is a community of believers centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we are committed to making a difference in our little town of Greencastle, Pennsylvania.
Our Story: We have roots dating back to the early 1800s. We have a rich history here in Greencastle, and we bless the past as we move into the future. We celebrate what God has done, but we don't live in the past--we're looking forward to moving in step with God's vision for our church. Our congregation is made up of a variety of backgrounds and walks of life. But as a Jesus community, we strive to be devoted to one another and bring all glory, honor, and power to Jesus Christ.
Our mission: "Growing, Caring, and Serving in the Name of Christ." Our vision rests on these three initiatives. We believe these initiatives should be rhythmic to every believer's lifestyle.
