Welcome!
Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
With so much going on in this world, the noise we make in our own heads can become so loud that we can no longer hear God. God is still talking, but we drown Him out with our own voice trying to make ourselves relevant. For us to stay “relevant”, so to say, we have to get out of the way and allow ourselves to be led by God. All the noise our lives make can interrupt hearing God’s voice. There is absolutely nothing about our present circumstances that prevents us from making progress in hearing God’s voice, one step at a time. I find that when I am being pulled in every direction by forces beyond my control, it becomes of the utmost importance that I take time to realign with what I value most in life, God. I feel that this is perhaps one of the absolute best ways we can stay grounded in God’s will for our life. What can we do when this noise in our heads starts to drive us insane and we find ourselves striving to be relevant to those we lead? Tell the devil to be silent. Tell yourself to be quiet and reconnect with God through praying and listening. We need to take our mind off our fears and off our doubts. We need to let go of the stress and frustration that causes all this noise that seems to clutter our thoughts. Amen
In Christ,
Pastor Ken
