There are different types of small groups.  The meeting place can be anywhere (it's actually encouraged to meet in homes and businesses).  The size of the group can vary but anything under 40 people is ideal.  

The purpose of the small group: For believers to regularly gather together and be the body of Christ.  In other words: 1) gather 2) form community 3) be the hands and feet of Jesus (this mean's people's spiritual gifts come out and are utilized)

If it doesn't meet the criteria of the GROUP breakdown, it's a club or a clique which is not good for healthy discipleship.

SMALL GROUPS
CURRENTLY MEETING:

Coffee with Pastor Ken
 Everyone is welcome to stop by the church on Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11 am to have coffee with Pastor Ken.  This is an informal time of getting to know each other better outside of our Sunday morning worship service.  

Mid Day Prayer
Attention all Prayer Warriors! Join us at the church for a time of prayer for our church, community, country and the world.  We meet  on Friday mornings at 11 am for an hour of discussion and prayer.  If you have a favorite bible verse or special devotion you want to share with the group, please bring them along.  If you have any questions, call the church office at 717-597-7314 or email [email protected]. 

Nourish & Flourish 
 Nourishing the mind and the body, this lunch and learn series fosters community and helps to grow inquisitive minds. Through speakers, Q&A periods, and various activities, we hope to increase knowledge about everyday living in the world around us. This community ministry program meets on the first Wednesday of each month from September through June at 11 am in our Family Life Center.  A light lunch is provided through your donations. Please check our upcoming events page for the list of our scheduled speakers. 

True Women
The purpose of this small group is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. True Women meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 pm.   Lisa Fetterhoff leads this group.
